Katnook Estate lies in the heart of Coonawarra, Australia's premier red wine district. The Estate is one of Coonawarra's largest, with 198 hectares under vine.
First made in 1980 by current winemaker Wayne Stehbens, these single varietal wines are made in limited quantities with fastidious attention to detail.
Concentrated flavours, balance and integrity of regional and varietal character are hallmarks of the Katnook Estate range.
The ultra premium Katnook Prodigy Shiraz and Katnook Odyssey Cabernet Sauvignon are considered amongst Australia's finest wine styles - both are included in the Langton's "Outstanding" classification of Australian wine, as is the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
