Deakin Estate
www.deakinestate.com.au
Deakin Estate wines were launched in 1994 and are made at our state of the art winery at Red Cliffs, near Mildura. The wines are entirely estate grown with fruit harvested from the 350 hectare vineyard. From this, 205 000 (nine litre) dozen of Deakin Estate branded wine are produced from an average of 2 500 tonnes each year. WIth other labels produced at the Estate, these figures are approximately double.
The rejuvenated packaging is contemporary, evocative and features a series of watercolour illustrations depicting the fruit forward taste profile of each wine.
The wines are vibrant, fruit driven and offer excellent value for money.
"Deakin Estate has an ultra-modern winery and a gifted chief winemaker in Dr Phil Spillman. Deakin Estate has a consistency and clarity of branding reminiscent of Rosemount Estate in its glory days. It's a potent mix."
James Halliday, Weekend Australian. October 2009.
