Katnook's Viki Coad Wins National Safety Award

Katnook Estate's Viki Coad has won a Safe Work Australia Award for "best individual contribution to workplace health and safety". The awards were announced in Canberra on April 28th 2009, the World Day for Health and Safety at Work. Thirty eight finalists competed in five categories.
Viki's national win was awarded on the basis of her demonstrated improvement in workplace safety culture. She has developed or adapted tools to monitor, track and catalogue all hazard and incident reports over the course of her three years since as health and safety representative at Wingara Wine Group's Katnook Estate.
